AnthonyUniversal, when y9ou say that lettuce doesn’t have a lot of nutrition, you’re referring to ICEBERG lettuce, the stuff that infests most salads. Romaine and other lettuces do have vitamins and minerals and stuff. Just avoid iceberg lettuce.

Unfortunetly this video is EXTREMELY wrong and if you follow it you will cause certain and fast death to your lizard. DO NOT FEED your green iguana ANY animal by product including eggs or cheese. They cannot handle the protien properly causing kidney related failures. Small amounts are unhealthy and my not kill them, but it hurts them. Do not feed ANY animals again. Stick to staple vegetables, herbs, and fruits for snacks. They love yellow squash for rewards. Do not use lettuce its only water.

It be awesome if Godzilla dropped his tail in one point of a film…. but gory at the same time too, since lizards bleed after dropping it…

Nenadjones2 is for the most part-correct! They are predominately vegans, but they can eat meat. It is not at all suggestible to feed them meat if they are pets. Meat can make an Iguana very ill tempered and aggressive animals- blood thirsty! If people stick to giving their Iguanas its proper vegetable diet, and give them adequate attention, they are very loving pets and sociable animals.

  • CheeseBubbles - Nov 23, 2009 at 9:11 am

no? animal proteins cause them harm. it will shorten their life.
