    HAHAHAHA maybe in the US, but definitely not in Europe. Have you heard of the Hand of God? Or Zidane’s World Cup final headbutt? Or the outrage these created? Football is thew most watched sport on the planet, and footballers are the most famous athletes on the planet. When has Beckham won a World Cup? The only reasons Americans took a single look at him was because of his looks and his wife. More than a billion people watch the World Cup finl, so don’t tell me he’s got the most publicity.
